Dean F. Thomas

Dean Thomas is a Buck’s County painter and printmaker specializing in hand-painted drypoint engravings, color woodcut, and oil paintings. He is a graduate of Glassboro State College (now Rowan University), where he earned his BFA in printmaking.

Dean has been inspired by the painters in the Hudson River School. He has also been influenced by the impressionists and tonalists of the New Hope School of painters. He has lived in Bucks County since 1995 and continues to be inspired by nature in Bucks County, including the Delaware River.

His work can be seen at The Chapman Gallery and Patricia Hutton Galleries in Doylestown, the Main Street Gallery in Quakertown, and Chimayo Gallery in Perkasie. He has had several solo and group shows and has been shown in many juried shows, including several times in the annual juried show at Phillips' Mill.
