Dear Prospective Member,

The Phillips' Mill Community Association is a not for profit tax exempt corporation. Initially organized by a group of artists in the 1920's, it was a means of focusing the creative energies of area artists in one of Bucks County's most distinguished landmarks - Phillips' Mill.

Over the decades, an evolving Community Association expanded this early emphasis on fine arts to include a broader range of artistic and social endeavors including theater presentations, photography exhibition, forum discussions, the Annual Juried Art Exhibition and community events ranging from lectures, informal member meet and greets to themed social events.

The key feature of the Community Association is that each year's diversified activities reflect the growing interests of Phillips' Mill increasing membership.

The following committees show the many enriching opportunities for participating in the Phillips' Mill Community life:

ART EXHIBITION: Want to help recognize area artists? The Annual Phillips' Mill Art Exhibit is one of the most distinguished juried art exhibitions in continuous showing for over seven decades. Committee members work year round, carrying on a tradition in which famed Bucks County Impressionists were first exhibited.

DRAMA: If the theatre is your muse, the drama group presents a musical, cabaret or play twice a year. Members have written, directed, acted in, designed for danced in, sung in or made costumes for the Mill's many productions. The Drama Committee will provide a complete mosaic to help realize all of your theatrical talents.

PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION: This is an annual juried international photography show that takes place in the late spring. Activities are similar to those of the Art Exhibit Committee and include recording entries, organizing reception activities and welcoming the visitors to the Exhibition.

FORUM: The Forum expands the creative force beyond the arts to the venue of ideas. The Forum Committee is thus charged to create an annual event where information and perspectives are exchanged regarding topical, social, cultural and environmental issues that challenge and stimulate our thinking and actions. Members of the Committee meet 5-6 times a year to select the topic and plan the occasion.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Committee members plan innovative events as well as the Annual Members Meeting. Other activities include member meet and greets, theme dinners, cocktail parties and Mill member only special events.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS: For members who enjoy hands-on repair, maintenance and restoration of historic Phillips' Mill or for those members who enjoy keeping the Mill's grounds and landscape beautiful. Members work with the Mill's plant manager on appropriate projects.

However your interests may find expression, the dominant theme of each activity is the continued care, enhancement and support of Phillips' Mill - the sole mission of the Phillips Mill Community Association.

As a member of Phillips' Mill Community Association your benefits include:

    - Phillips' Mill Community Association Newletters
    - Invitations to all Members only events
    - Invitation to new member reception - Discount on rental of the Mill facility
    - Pride of preserving the artistic and cultural heritage of the Bucks County Area

To become a Mill member and identify your interests in our activities, please complete the application and return with a check for your membership. We look forward to getting to know you and thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Membership Committee
