Phillips’ Mill dates back to 1756. Originally a grist mill, it was operated by the Phillips’ family for generations to serve the needs of local farmers. It is a sturdy stone building and one of a handful of mills still standing in Bucks County.
The Phillips’ Mill Community Association considers itself blessed to own such a treasure. In 2009, the Association established the Phillips’ Mill Preservation and Endowment Fund for the purpose of creating a fund that would grow in value over time and provide a reliable source of income to preserve and improve the Mill and to promote the PMCA’s mission of supporting the fine and performing arts. The Fund was started with initial deposit of $15,000 from a progressive dinner fund raiser kick off and $10,000 from the PMCA’s general funds.
Every year since, PMCA has held a lively and fun event to raise money for the Fund. But the Association also seeks donations from its members and others to bolster the Fund. While the Mill is sturdy, it is also an antique and requires loving care year round.
No donation is too small. All are gratefully accepted and appreciated. And all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. If you would like to donate to the Fund, please click on the Donate button on the right or download the donation form linked here, complete it, and mail it with your check to:
