Opening Reception: 96th Annual Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill
The opening reception for the 96th Annual Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill brought together more than 350 artists, patrons, and friends of the arts on Friday, September 26, marking the start of another extraordinary exhibition season.
Guests filled the historic Mill and its scenic grounds to celebrate the accepted artists and their work, surrounded by exquisite floral arrangements by Pod Shop, The Living Earth, and Mini Green Floral, elegant catering by iQuisine, and wines presented by Stony Run Winery’s expert sommeliers. Live music by Zach Peckman and JJ Sun added to the festive atmosphere.
Over the course of the opening weekend, attendance topped 650 visitors, with record sales that included 16 framed pieces, one sculpture, and 38 portfolios.
Attendees praised the show and opening reception as “the best reception the Mill has ever done,” calling it “well planned, well designed, and well executed.” Others described it as “the hottest ticket of the season in Bucks County” and “a wonderful show and fantastic opening.” One guest summed it up best: “The quality and variety of art at last year’s show were amazing—but this year takes it to a whole new level.”
