People’s Choice Award Presented at “Art for Artists” reception
During a special “Art for Artists” reception on October 4, 2024, attendees voted for their favorite Framed or Sculpture piece. Of the 25 works that received votes, three tied for first place:
Matt DeProspero for “Connections”
Joe Gyurcsk for “Studio Reflections”
David Washington for “Naima’
Please join us in congratulating the winners, and in recognizing all of the artists who submitted work to this year’s Juried Art Show. It was heartwarming to see such an outpouring of camaraderie and support at the event.
“The artists appreciated the low key, informal, relaxed vibe of the evening and the opportunity to talk with other artists about their work and process,” says Pual Klug, Chair of this year's Juried Art Show at Phillips’ Mill. “ Many of the artists talked about both the quality and diversity of the works in the show.”
In addition to the awards presentation, the evening featured the giveaway of six gift cards—two for Phoenix Art Supplies and Framing and four for Jerry’s Artarama.
