Roast and Toast and Go Hog Wild

August 27, 2025

Although none of the attendees at the August 9 “Roast and Toast and Go Hog Wild” event literally went hog wild, they did have a very enjoyable time!

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who supported and joined us at the “Roast and Toast,” with a special shout-out to the Jericho Grass Band, whose music fit our theme perfectly, and to Blooming Glen, who catered the pig roast. We received many compliments on their delicious food and attentive professional staff. Thank you also to McCaffrey’s for providing the festive tablecloths and beautiful flowers, and to Dave Dembeck, our clever and entertaining Master of Ceremonies.

We are proud to report that the evening, staged by an incredibly engaged and supportive committee, raised $27,000 for the Preservation Fund.

“I would like to personally thank every member of our amazing committee: Mary Fowles, Sally Henriques, Carole Hurst, Donna Lacey, Jaimie Lemberg, Linda Macht, Stacey McLaughlin, Beth Moeller, Diana Resek, Barbara Rintala and Candy Wallace. And our new Operations Manager, Hannah McDonnell,” says Jane Ford-Hutchinson, President of Phillips’ Mill.
